Introduced in 1968. Last year was 1984, but imports to the US stopped
in 1980. It first had a 4-cylinder 1700 cc 85hp in-line engine designed by Triumph.
Later on, a 18.5 and 2.0 Litre engine were available (After 1974, only 2.0 was
sold). The 99 Turbo, introduced in 1978, had a top speed of 122 miles per hour and a 0-to-60 mph performance of 8.2 seconds. The original selling price was a little over $10,000 USD. | ![]() |
